We are seeking a proactive and experienced Onboarding Consultant to join our Onboarding team. This role is central to delivering successful onboarding projects for new Brightwell client pension schemes, managing workstreams that span technology, processes, and people. You’ll work closely with clients, internal teams, and third-party providers to ensure seamless transitions and high-quality outcomes.

Key Responsibilities

• Define, scope, and initiate onboarding workstreams across people, process, and technology.
• Build strong relationships with clients, internal teams, and third-party stakeholders to align expectations and timelines.
• Document and agree on workstream requirements and responsibilities to ensure successful delivery.
• Create and manage detailed implementation plans with clear milestones.
• Lead or participate in workstream meetings, stand-ups, and reviews.
• Monitor progress and provide timely updates to sponsors and stakeholders.
• Manage risks, issues, decisions, and dependencies, escalating where necessary.
• Oversee testing and stakeholder sign-off as part of project gating.
• Deliver effective reporting and communication schedules for workstream activities.
• Ensure quality standards and timely delivery across all onboarding components.

Person Specification

We’re looking for a confident and resilient individual with a track record of delivering complex workstreams involving people, processes, and technology. You’ll be an excellent communicator with strong stakeholder and project management skills and the ability to lead in high-pressure environments. Experience in the pensions industry or a regulated operational setting is desirable, along with knowledge of digital transformation, JIRA, and project management. Advanced IT skills and the ability to manage competing priorities are essential.
